Night and Sunrise

As the moon begged
the life-giving water closer,
they were yet sleeping
and I was wondering:
If night never was,
would we ever see
the sky of other suns?

The boat gently sways
in the cradle of the sea
as we see the edge
of the sun; again
our planet has turned
untold times in uncounted
circles around this star,
which rotates with the wheel
of a galaxy curving the universe
in the Thought of God,
Who stands on shore cooking
fish for his brothers' morning.
(John 21:1-14)
